Saori Murakami, M.D.

Saori Murakami is the Medical Director of the Boston Child Study Center and a board certified child and adolescent psychiatrist. Dr. Murakmi specializes in evidence-based treatment for anxiety disorders, behavior disorders, depression, trauma and emotion dysregulation disorders in children, adolescents, young adults and families.

Dr. Murakami earned her medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She completed her psychiatry residency at Harvard Medical School Longwood Psychiatry Residency Training Program and her Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital. Dr. Murakami is double board certified in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.

Before joining the Boston Child Study Center, Dr. Murakami served as the assistant medical director of the McLean-Franciscan Hospital Child and Adolescent Inpatient Program. Dr. Murakami provides evidence-based outpatient psychopharmacological consultations and treatment to BCSC families at our Natick, MA center.
