Our assessment process begins with an initial assessment aimed at exploring potential causes of the problems your child/you are experiencing, assigning a treatment team, and prescribing a treatment plan to help you or your child reach goals together.

What information will I need to provide for the initial assessment?
  • Any current medical conditions and/or medications you/your child are taking
  • History of any mental health difficulties you/your child are experiencing
  • History of treatment for any mental health difficulties
  • Any family history of similar mental health conditions
  • Any recent life changes that might be impacting you/your child
  • Reasons why you are seeking treatment, and the outcomes you would like from this treatment

Referrals are welcome, but not required.

The initial intake usually lasts 60–90 minutes.
