Psychopharmacology

Broadly, psychopharmacology involves the use of medications to treat psychological conditions. Psychopharmacology is a complex science that requires considerable knowledge of what effects medications have on the human body, how long medication stays in the body, and how medications interact with one another.

At BCSC, psychopharmacological (or, psychiatric) services are provided by our Medical Director, Saori Murakami, M.D. as well as Pediatric Psychiatrist Caitlin Wilds, MD both provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and medical consultation for individuals with a variety of behavioral and emotional struggles.
