Xana Turner-Owens is the Office Manager and Social Media Strategist at Boston Child Study Center. She has previously worked as the web developer, creative editor and design consultant for the BCSC Foundation. In this role, she was responsible for managing the Foundation’s website and online social presence. In her ongoing role, she will be overseeing creative projects including social media, marketing, website development and branding, as well as future creative media projects. She will also be managing the Boston office Monday-Thursday.
Outside of BCSC, Xana is a writer, photographer, creative brand consultant, and social media strategist. She has worked with several local brands and restaurants as a photographer, consultant and social media manager. She is the founder of HOMEBODY, a food and wellness website featuring recipes, projects, and practices related to health and well-being. She is a contributing writer and photographer for Edible Boston, and has worked with publications like Reviewed and Food 52.
She attended The New School and Wesleyan University for her undergraduate career and pursued writing at Harvard Extension School for Continued Education.
