Maheen Habib, M.A.

Clinical Extern

Maheen Habib, M.A., is a current clinical extern at Boston Child Study Center where she provides competent care in the Tic, Trich, and OCD track.

Maheen earned her B.A. at Clark University in Worcester, MA where she majored in Psychology and double minored in Women’s and Gender Studies and International Development and Social Change with a concentration in Migration and Refugees. She then went on to pursue her doctoral degree (PsyD) at William James College. While pursuing her doctorate, she was also able to complete an en-route master’s program where she received her master’s degree in Professional Psychology. Currently, she is a third-year doctoral student with a concentration in Children and Families in Adversity and Resilience with an area of emphasis in Asian Mental Health.

Prior to coming to BCSC, Maheen completed her second-year field placement at the Addiction Treatment Center of New England (ATCNE) where she focused on providing care to individuals diagnosed with substance use disorder. During her time at ATCNE, she provided care of individuals of all ages and backgrounds and facilitated two therapy groups per week.
