Madeleine Rassaby is a clinical assistant at the Boston Child Study Center, where she works primarily in the Parent-Child-Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Clinic. Madeleine is pursuing a degree in psychology at Boston University, and works as a Research Assistant at the Borderline Personality Disorder, Emotion, and Suicide Treatment (BEST) Lab at the Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders.

She has also worked as a Research Assistant for the Social Development and Learning Lab (SDLL) at Boston University’s Child Development Labs for two years. Her research interests include evidence-based treatments that address the underlying mechanisms of emotional and anxiety disorders, developmental psychopathology, anxiety etiology and treatment, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

In her spare time, Madeleine volunteers as a Crisis Counselor for Crisis Textline, where she supports people who are suicidal or in crisis through strategies such as reflective listening, collaborative problem-solving, validation, and crisis management.
