Corrine Mahoney, PhD
Clinical Psychologist & Director of School Consultation Services
Dr. Mahoney earned her B.A. in Psychology and Child Development from Tufts University. She then went on to earn her M.S. and C.A.G.S. in School Psychology, and Ph.D. in Counseling and Applied Educational Psychology from Northeastern University. She completed her predoctoral internship at Harvard Medical School/Cambridge Health Alliance where she treated patients in the child, adolescent and adult outpatient clinics. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Brown University/Bradley Hospital, where she provided treatment to children and adolescents in a therapeutic educational setting.
Following her fellowship, Dr. Mahoney served as a psychologist in a therapeutic school program for children with emotional and behavioral needs. She also served as a clinical coordinator and consultant for a large school district around students’ mental health needs. Dr. Mahoney has experience treating children, adolescents and young adults with emotional dysregulation, especially anxiety, from a CBT perspective. She also has extensive experience in parent and teacher coaching around implementing treatment plans and supporting therapeutic gains. Dr. Mahoney combines her clinical skills with her expertise in schools to provide parents, school staff and children with support across home and school settings.
