Elana Glickman, MSW
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Elana Glickman is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) at the Boston Child Study Center where she provides evidence-based Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for adolescents and young adults, as well as caregiver coaching. Elana completed the Intensive Foundational DBT Training led by Dr. Alec Miller. Elana received her BS in Psychology from Union College, and her Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from the Boston College School of Social Work.
Elana began her career at McLean’s 3East Continuum, where she received extensive training in DBT for adolescents and young adults with Borderline Personality Disorder, PTSD, and other co-occurring disorders at the Intensive Residential and Partial Hospitalization programs, as well as the transitional Cambridge Residence. Elana completed her foundational clinical training at Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, where she provided individual counseling to a caseload of students, and co-taught a DBT-informed “Skills for Wellbeing” elective course. She completed her advanced clinical training at North Shore Clinicians Group, an outpatient private group practice, where she provided individual therapy for children, adolescents, and adults, as well as family therapy and caregiver coaching. After completing her Master’s degree, Elana continued her career as a therapist at North Shore Clinicians Group where she gained experience treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders for over three years.
Elana specializes in treating Borderline Personality Disorder and emerging BPD, as well as anxiety, depression, and other disorders of emotional and behavioral dysregulation. Elana brings warmth and compassion to her work, while also challenging her clients to reach their goals and build a life worth living.
