Melissa Wei, M.A.
Melissa Wei is a clinical extern at the Boston Child Study Center, where she provides supervised evidence-based treatments for youths and families, including prolonged exposure therapy and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
Melissa received her B.A. and M.A. in psychology from Stanford University. Prior to graduate school, she worked as a behavioral health clinician at the Community Youth Center of San Francisco. Melissa is currently a doctoral student at Harvard University, where her research focuses on the roles of self-regulation and emotion regulation in psychotherapy outcomes. She has completed clinical externships at the OCD Institute at McLean Hospital, the Child Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders at Boston University, and the 3East Outpatient DBT Program at McLean Hospital. She specializes in working with adolescents and young adults with co-occurring difficulties with attention and emotion regulation.
