Clinical Extern

Madeleine McGuire, M.A. is a clinical extern at the Boston Child Study Center, where she provides supervised neuropsychological evaluations and evidenced based group treatment for children, adolescents, and their families.

Madeleine received her B.S. in Psychology from Tulane University with honors. She is currently in her 5th year of the Clinical Psychology Program at the William James College in Newton and has received her enroute masters. She has completed clinical practicums at McLean Anxiety Mastery Program (intensive outpatient), McLean-Franciscan Child and Adolescent Inpatient Unit, and McLean Child and Adolescent Testing Services. Madeleine has experience providing evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, and trauma.

Madeleine’s research examines the influence of family functioning on Pediatric Medical Traumatic Stress (PMTS). Overall, she is passionate about building resilience in children and families from diverse backgrounds.
