The Boston Child Study Center is looking for a passionate and adaptable Middle Childhood Therapist to work with children (primarily ages 8–12) and their families. You’ll collaborate with caregivers, lead evidence-based therapy (DBT-C, PCIT, CBT, and more), and play a key role in supporting kids with neurodevelopmental, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide therapy to children and families in-person and via telehealth
  • Deliver PCIT and DBT-C (training and certification support provided)
  • Lead skills groups and family sessions
  • Collaborate across disciplines to support holistic care
  • Engage in team consults, supervision, and training
  • Contribute to outreach and research initiatives
  • Help reduce treatment barriers for underserved communities

Who You Are:

  • Master’s/Doctoral-level clinician with MA license (LICSW, LMHC, PhD, PsyD, etc.)
  • Experienced with kids and families (4+ years preferred)
  • Eager to deepen expertise in PCIT, DBT, and caregiver coaching
  • Skilled in behavioral interventions and committed to evidence-based care
  • Dedicated to equity, inclusion, and culturally sensitive practices
  • Available for at least 3 in-person days per week
