Dr. Snell is a Licensed Psychologist and Health Service Provider. She is a Pediatric Psychologist at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she works in the Medical Coping Clinic delivering evidence-based treatments to children and families with a variety of medical and behavioral health needs. In this position, Dr. Snell also conducts research and supervises trainees in clinical psychology, and she holds an appointment as an Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Snell received her BA in Human Biology from Stanford University before receiving her Master of Science and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami. Dr. Snell completed her pre-doctoral internship at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford/ Children’s Health Council and her post-doctoral fellowship at Children’s Hospital Boston, with a specialization in pediatric psychology. During her fellowship, Dr. Snell held an appointment at Harvard Medical School. She is the author of several scholarly papers, presentations and chapters. Dr. Snell is experienced in treating children and teens with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and behavior problems, as well as youth with medical issues including somatic symptoms, chronic illness, and pain.
