Alexis Smith is a clinical assistant at the Boston Child Study Center, where she works with the Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) Clinic to provide PCIT treatment and teach techniques to parent-child dyads and triads. Alexis is a senior at Boston University (BU) studying psychology and completing her honors thesis in developmental psychology. At BU, Alexis works for the Developing Minds Lab studying working memory, mathematical cognition, and social development. Her current research interests include parent-child interactions, temperament, parent attachment styles, and the effects parent-child interactions has on social development and the development of social cognition.
